The dream of Californianization.
The former Beverly Hills home of Red Hot Chili Peppers singer Anthony Kiedis has been listed for $11.25 million, The Post has learned.
Kiedis, 61, lived at the property from 2004 to 2007, during which time the rock group recorded and released its Grammy Award-winning double album Stadium Arcadium, which includes hits such as “Dani California ” and “Snow (Hey Oh)”
“Located just moments from the heart of Beverly Hills, this gated estate sits on three lushly landscaped acres and transports you to a European retreat,” says the listing for 1410 Davies Drive, which is held by agents Carl Gambino and Alyson Richards, both of Compass.
Set on more than 151,500 square feet, the 6,000-square-foot home features five bedrooms, 5.5 bathrooms, a large motor yard, a garage and a bell tower with arched windows “ideal for an office or yoga studio,” the list suggests.
On the first floor is the large beam accented living room which is fitted with paneled windows, a fireplace, very high ceilings and French doors leading to a patio with sweeping views of the city beyond .
There is also an open concept kitchen which has a walk-in pantry, a breakfast nook and a lounge area.
Upstairs, on the second floor, is the master suite with multiple private balconies, two walk-in closets – and a bathroom with a soaking tub, a glass shower, double sinks and a fireplace.
Elsewhere are the guest bedrooms and a formal dining area.
On the grounds there is a swimming pool, extensive patio space, an outdoor fireplace, extensive landscaping and many areas for alfresco dining.
Kiedis has owned numerous properties over the years, including a Bel Air villa with a library and 14-foot ceilings, and a nearly 3,000-square-foot Hawaii mansion that he had custom built on Kauai’s north shore in 2008, reported formerly Forbes.
